At BUILT TO LEAD, we believe that excellence must be achieved individually before it can spread organizationally. And while this involves a very personal, “deep dive” into one’s own heart, it does not occur in a vacuum. At BUILT TO LEAD, we believe that TOGETHER we improve.
I’ve stumbled upon a brilliant quote by author Jim Rohn that crystallizes this idea.
“You must constantly ask yourself these questions: Who am I around? What are they doing to me? What have they got me reading? What have they got me saying? Where do they have me going? What do they have me thinking? And most important, what do they have me becoming? Then ask yourself the big question: Is that okay? Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.”
As humans, we are made for relationships, and we are very much influenced by our relationships. Our tagline “Together we IMPROVE” assumes we are choosing POSITIVE influences.
The reality is “together we CHANGE”. Whether we IMPROVE or not is a matter of whom we allow to influence that change.
