Growing up as the third generation in a large family business, I experienced first-hand both my grandfather and father’s deep passion for the Company, as well as the remarkable culture they inspired. Above all, I learned from them a simple, yet profound lesson that continues to guide my work with BUILT TO LEAD — great leaders inspire others by being inspired themselves.
In 2007, I joined BTL and began coaching senior leaders and their teams. After more than 30 years in a family owned, professionally led company, I bring a keen insight into the unique challenges of multi-generation family businesses.
After graduating from Miami University, I worked on the Chicago Board of Trade before joining Wyandot, Inc., the premier custom manufacturer of better-for-you snack foods and cereals, where I served in various leadership roles, including Chairman. I have chaired university and foundation boards, led capital campaigns, and co-founded a nationally acclaimed school for autistic children and young adults. My wife, Karen, and I have two grown children and reside in Dublin, Ohio.
