Just a quick post to wish you all a Happy Opus day weekend. Not “Labor” day anymore.
Let’s make this a celebration of the freedom to choose our own unique contributions to the world, utilizing all our individual strengths and talents, pursuing crazy excellence, in the service of others.
Man, even if you’re not yet living that dream, what a great reason to stop, consider, and be grateful for everyone who IS!
They’re the ones who are smiling.
They’re one ones who are innovating.
They’re the ones giving legendary customer service.
They’re the ones lost in their work, and leading and inspiring others.
They’re the bosses we wish we all had.
They’re the employees we wish we could recruit.
They’re the people we are all called to be!
Resolve after this weekend to never return to “Labor.” Begin your builder’s journey, or recommit to it. Ask yourself these questions:
“Who am I?” and “Who am I BECOMING?”
“Where am I?” and Where am I GOING?”
“How do I CHOOSE to live and work?”
“How will I GET THERE?”
