Today is a somber day. I think of many people. I am thankful for so many of the relationships that I have. I am thankful for the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much – – – going back to the very beginning of our great nation.
Today, I miss great warriors like Mark Read and Chris Falkel who I had the honor to fight alongside and lead in battle.
I am thankful for the warriors who I fought alongside who are still alive.
I miss you Mark. I miss you Chris.
Mark, you promised me that you would be waiting for me when my time came.
And I know that is true.
One of the things that is so comforting to me now – is all the times we hugged, all the times we cried together, and the times we told each other how much we loved one another.
We will all be together one day.
One day…
