Sister Michelle…

After a very long and hard battle, sprinkled with some wonderful family time, I returned home very tired.

I saw a package with your name on it and opened it up.

BOOM.

It was “as if” a message from heaven itself had dropped upon my doorstep.

I wore it that day to my beautiful little granddaughter’s birthday party. I wore it to sleep then got up this morning and ran my favorite running course. Guess, I am gonna have to wash it at some point… We are not much of a ‘swag’ kinda band, but I love this all the same. It means so much to me.

Thank you for your kind gift.

More than that, thank you for building into me, for pouring yourself so freely into me and the rest of the band, your family and all you work with.

And since this is just between you and I – I can tell you here in private that if I had to boil you down into one word (which is impossible) – the word would be:

STRENGTH.

Thank you for the wonderful writing that you share with the band each and every week. It has been – an inspiration to us all.
