We humans struggle to sit alone in a room and face the hardest internal things. We’d rather put the pain in a nice little internal box and not open it up. We tell ourselves that it’s contained and doesn’t need to be revisited. The problem is that that pain likely created beliefs that now effect your behaviors. And now, rather than having dealt with that root pain we play whack a mole with the issues that pop up that are caused by our old self limiting beliefs rooted in the original pain.
Slow down. Grab a pen and paper and sit alone. Get to the root of pain. Stop playing whack a mole with every down stream problem that pops up.
