The gift of TIME…

Earlier this week I had another BTL moment with a client. The cool thing about this work is that this happens all the time. Here’s how this one played out.

My client was running late so his assistant had me come on in and take my normal place in one of his really nice, high back chairs. We’ve been working together for quite a while. When he finished his phone call I simply asked him where he wanted to have our meeting today. He looked at me with one of his “scrunchy faces.” Then he smiled. We would walk a half a mile to a beautiful park. The sunshine would do him good.

We walked and talked about his work and life. He’s really BUSY. He’s really SUCCESSFUL. He’s really SMART. He’s like so many of my clients.

We had a great couple hours together. He walked away with more clarity about some key decisions to make. He walked back to his office with a smile on his face. I asked him one more question as we climbed the steps toward the building with his name on it. I asked him what he had learned from our hours together. He rattled off a number of tangible, actionable items. I couldn’t disagree with a one. Here’s what I “anded.” I anded that he had discovered, once again, the gift of TIME.

Are you investing your time in your CORE?

Are you investing your time in alignment with you want in work and life?

Are you too busy, too successful, and too smart to do what is not common and makes no “cents?”

Why? Why? Why?
