Another great practice with one of my favorite teams. This may sound like a re-run but it’s NOT. Every practice, with every team produces something new. Something and someone gets better. Today this team made a real decidre. They overcame some individual and collective FEARS in the process.
Today the CEO provided some clarity. Today the CEO made a real decidre. Remember, decidre is a Latin term that translates to the English word decision. It means literally “to cut off.” Making decisions cuts off your options. Every leader on every team would benefit from making MORE decidres. We tend to want to make less. We tend to want just a few more analytics before we pull the trigger. The team wants more decidres…more ACTION and less TALK.
Today the team watched the CEO make a decision. Everyone smiled. Today the team got better. Very cool.
Tomorrow they are being asked to make a couple real decidre’s of their own.
