The grass is always greener is the starting point to a phrase that most of us can finish without thinking. Am I right? We were taught this one many years ago. The “other side” is the answer…isn’t it?
Here’s the real truth.
Do NOT miss this.
The grass is always greener, where you WATER it.
Today we held practice with Kevin, the carpenters, the office workers, and the big cheese. We covered some new ground and rode over some old. We got to the top and went back down to do another “10 k.”
This team is stinkin’ awesome. They are getting tired together and coming together like never before. I LOVE practicing with them. Today we started at 6 bells and nobody was late. I hold practice with “suits” that can’t make it on time by 8:30 yet these guys were there ready to go at 6am. Some of them came an hour and a half drive to boot. What a tribute to their leader.
What a tribute to them…
Today they learned a little bit about watering thoughts. I learned a TON about what it means to really LOVE your work and LOVE your leader.
Thank you builders.
How well does your team practice?
Do you play well with the “field?”
Do you only relate to your “suits?”
Why?
