Every book has a few pages that are MORE valuable than the others. In the BUILT TO LEAD playbooks, the MONEY pages are found at the end of each Essential. These pages give the reader the chance to look in the mirror, look to the sky, and, most importantly, take a few steps forward on the ground.
Here’s what they look like. At the bottom of the page is your current state. Here we encourage our clients to look in the mirror and capture where they are CURRENTLY. This is your current state.
Next we ask our clients to DREAM BIG. At the top of the page is where you capture where you WANT to be. This is your dream state.
The magic is when our clients are honest about their current state, clear about their dream state, AND choosing some productive action to move them in the direction of their dreams. Choosing productive action is what separates the BTL builder from the normal “day dreamer.”
As you work with your builders do NOT miss the money pages. Do NOT rush your way by them in search of the next Essential. Slow down. Reflect. Write and rewrite. Gain clarity and ACT.
