PURPOSE…

I am privileged to invest my time and energy into work.  I cannot wait for tomorrow morning and the chance to be a catalyst.  One of the reason for my joy at work is simply that I get to be there when people “get it.”  I get a front row seat at their awakening.  This past week I received at least a half a dozen notes from people that have decided to invest their whole heart into their work.  Actually, into the pursuit of finding such work.  

Some will be leaving.  Some will be coming.  Some will be staying where they are.  None, however, will be standing still.  They will all be on the move.  Work worth pursuing is work that is for a PURPOSE.  When we discover work that is purposeful, we are drawn to Monday.  Sadly, most American’s appear to dread instead.  We’ve become a nation of “highly paid laborers.”  Don’t let that be said of YOU.

Find your CORE PURPOSES.  Choose work that matters to you.  Allow “meaning” to replace just “paying the bills.”

Is your work more than just a trivial pursuit?

Is your work only self serving?

Is your work WORTH your investment of TIME?

Will your CORE PURPOSES change your world for the better?

Where does your energy originate?

Is it sustainable?

PURPOSE: Make it one worth your whole HEART.
