Here’s something I’ve noticed. Do NOT miss this. This is HUGE.
The leaders that attract committed followers are SCARY. They run. They expect you and I to run with them. They oftentimes are NOT so good at waiting. These leaders constantly remind us of why they are running. They are running toward their BIG dreams. They do NOT run from fear but, instead, run into. They are scary because they almost appear reckless, possessed, and a little bit “out there.”
Ironically, these are the same traits that ATTRACT real “believers” toward them and their sense of mission. As I study these leaders, here’s something I’ve noticed…
They do NOT seem to notice.
They simply run. Seems, they just figure those that like to run will join them. Very cool.
At BTL, we call these types of leaders…our CLIENTS!
Are you so passionate about your big dreams that you are scarin’ some folks?
Are you investing too much time trying to prod people that do NOT want your prodding?
Are you allowing guys like Kentucker Doug to grab the reins?
BTW…he’s SCARY good!!
Are you attracting people that are running by you like you’re stuck in mud?
Are you SCARY good or just really SCARED…but good?
