Today we decided to have a family cookout to celebrate labor day in the good ole’ USA. We invited Jordan, Keturah, Andrew to join Miss, Tay, and me. Next we decided to invite Nick, Susie, and Lynne to include the Dad and the sisters. What would labor day be without them?
Here’s how the story turned out. All came. And a few more. Natalie and her friend. Jade, Katie, Elissa, jeremy, Mark, Leah, Cameron and all brought food and spirit. We are having a great night together. U2 is playing in the background as I write this rant. They’re singing about “walking on” and I can so relate.
Tomorrow, I walk on.
Tomorrow, I get to go out west and see the one person that I miss the most. Tomorrow, on the day after we’ve labored, I will be with my little girl.
Tomorrow more memories will be made. Very cool.
