Chris and Chris…

Chris works on the shop floor and Chris works as the CEO.  Today both showed up ready to play.  We held another amazing practice with a diverse group of builders.  We watched some old folks sing their song AND we found some of our voice in the process.  Today was really cool.

Today Chris told the team of builders that he is going to do what he loves.  He’s going to get Line Seven organized, cleaned, and greened.  His eyes told us that this is what he wants to do.  This is one of his passions.  We all applauded.

Next, the other Chris, the CEO, told us that he was going to do what he loves too.  He told us a part of his big dream that he’s never told us before.  He told us about 200 acres in the hills of Ohio that he wants to build a camp upon.  He wants to provide children with the chance to run, to play, to investigate the rolling terrain, and just maybe to find their joy, their OPUS, in the process.  Nobody applauded.  We tend not to applaud when the CEO says something.  But everyone took notice.  Today, Chris became a little more like Chris.  Today, Chris became a little more HUMAN.  Very cool.

You see, Chris and Chris are more alike than they are different.  They are more the same than they are diverse.  They are both full of fear and fueled by LOVE.  Today, LOVE grabbed the upper hand.  Today, this team of builders did NOT focus on the economy, their problems, or their pain.  Today this group of builders gained energy by turning their attention toward their big dreams.  They listed their LOVES.  They decided to ACT.

Remember, entrepreneurs of life both dream and do.  Today, some business guys did the same.  Very cool.

Thanks Chris and Chris.

You inspired me.
