Our work at BTL is not the easiest to follow nor is it simple to see, oftentimes, where we’re headed.  The Builder’s Journey is not a linear, recipe type of path.  Most of the world wants something to follow from A to B to C and end up in D at their destination.  That would be fortunate and somewhat sad at the same time if that were the recipe for a great work and life.  Gladly, it is NOT.  So, with that in mind, let’s spend a moment reminding one another of the path we’re on here at BTL.  There are really three pieces to the journey and only three “deliverables” to pay attention to.  Boy, I don’t like that word…

Here are our three big promises.  Do not miss this.  This is why we build…

We build strong individuals.  The 12 is all about individual excellence that can be boiled down to CORE centered confidence.  Period.

We build strong teams.  The 8 rotates around deep trust and can be boiled down to Community with chemistry.  Wouldn’t you love to work with a transformed team that mixed and matched like magic.

We build the next generation before it’s needed.  The 4 is all about continuity and contentment.  

The world of work is full of mediocre teams that simply focus on near term results and miss the mark.  BTL believes that results are caused by focusing on building individuals with CORE centered confidence, communities with chemistry, and finally by building the next generation of leaders to provide a path toward continuity which ultimately provides the builder with a sense of contentment that can only come from leaving a mark that offers others the chance to build it even better.  

The essentials of excellence start with CORE centered confidence.
