Twenty five percent of the people in your work and life, do NOT like you and they don’t know why.  They rushed to judge and you came up wanting.  Bummer but those first seven seconds do matter.

Twenty five percent like you, and they don’t know why either.

Twenty five percent of the people do NOT like you and they have a reason why.  Yea baby.  We all have long memories when it comes to pain. Cause me some, and I won’t easily forget…

Twenty five percent like you, and they have a specific reason why.  

This generality is amazing accurate in our work and our life.  And we all invest way too much time and energy trying to win those that don’t like us.  We give too much attention to those that like us but lack a compelling reason.  What’s up with that?

The twenty five percent that connect to you and me is more than enough.  

Monday, when you get back after it with those you call your company, try to remember this little piece of data.  And, remember that your company doesn’t have to win everybody over.  The twenty five percent that have a reason why, however, need your time and attention.  These are your potential FANatics.  And, these are the people that just might win some of those others.

The deeper their why, the stronger your brand.
