By way of reminder…
This morning I reviewed one of my clients sCORE documents. I helped him gain some clarity within. He’s been doing some heavy lifting on his own. He’s been rinsing and repeating in the dark. Clarity has come the way it always comes.
Slowly. Victory within takes our most precious commodity, our time. It just does.
As he reviewed his latest rinse of his worldview, identity, and principles (WIP), I reminded him that what he’s writing about is authoring what the ancient Greeks first coined many moons ago. The old Greeks had it going.
According to the Greeks and their research back in the day, humans could be divided into two big buckets. The vast majority were “exotelic.” In other words, others were setting their goal. These humans were being driven by what others told them, thought about them, and were set up to flail according to what some others said. Fail.
The few, those that authored their own goal, were called “autotelic.” By definition auto (self) and telos (goal) combined for the ultimate victory within. Our sCORE is nothing more than our recipe for you gaining the victory within. Epic win.
Are you flailing around trying to meet somebody else’s objective, or are you gaining victory after victory in your self defined interior, your sCORE?
One leads to insanity, the other to peace within. One is a little bit easier, until it gets hard. The other, hard for awhile and then easier in the end.
Pain is inevitable. Misery is a choice.
You choose. Your choices have consequences.
sCORE is the ONE you want.
