Recently I met with one of my clients and walked him through the OPUS process of authoring his masterpiece. I reminded him that when he authors his OPUS it has the power to deeply change his work and life. It just does.
He wants to believe. He wants to gain this focus for his work and life. He’s just really busy at the moment. He’s got a lot going on, he said, and he can’t seem to get around to finish authoring his OPUS. He is a chronic “mostly done” kinda guy.
He’s normal.
He doesn’t really believe that writing his OPUS is anything more than just another interesting exercise. He’s right.
Writing your OPUS, won’t change your work.
However, Y-O-U, authoring your OPUS , most certainly will.
Great works are always authored by a select few. A few that have developed a very distinct and differentiating habit of the heart. They finish the right things. Really finish them.
There is power when you FINISH.
