Leave out the last, and the first doesn’t really warm the soul nor the second cause the spirit to soar. It just doesn’t.
Today, our daughter arrives with her friends. Sue, Sunshine, Jane, Cam, T, and I will be blessed by the presence of Krit and her always present posse. We just will.

God, thanks for the blessings and the inherent bummers that are a part of your plan.

God, thanks for helping me see Sally sunshine by the salad bar and for the gift of 31 years that have flown by like a banshee.
