God’s native tongue…

Pain is the universal language.  We all speak it because none of us gets outa here without feeling it.  LOVE, however, is the ONE you want to learn.  When your language is chronic pain you just want it to stop and, far too often it doesn’t, you do.  This language separates you from others.  It just does.

When your language is LOVE, you can’t stop.  Your words and your actions are moving you toward your OPUS and, magnetically, at least a few other humans are drawn closer.  Funny, huh.

Pain tells you to stop.

LOVE propels you forward.  LOVE inspires you to get better.

Here’s the problem.  Learning any new language is a pain.  Learning  is acutely painful.

Choose this pain.

LOVE suffers long and is kind; LOVE does not envy; LOVE does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity; but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”  1 Corinthians 13:4-7

God, help me learn your language, your native tongue.

God, help me…
