Don’t judge me…

I could write about my bride every day and it would NOT be enough.  Every day I am blessed by her in so many ways and only rarely do I stop to tell her.

Yesterday, after another convicting and challenging sermon from Rich Nathan, we went grocery shopping for “Salmon Sunday.”  After shopping and finding all that she needed, we drove home.  I couldn’t wait to get out for a ride with a couple friends and to workout with Tay.

Miss couldn’t wait to chop some garlic, mix some dressings, make a few sauces, practically harvest a spinach salad, make a potato concoction that the French would envy, sear the salmon to perfection and then into the oven for just the right amount of time, all while setting a beautiful table complete with May flowers for our eyes.

Please don’t judge me.  I know that I am beyond spoiled…

Susis and Cam came over and together we feasted and marveled at Missi’s labor of LOVE.  After some fresh berries were devoured we laughed for awhile on the couch and by and by turned in for the night.

As I lay in my bed, I thanked God for another beautiful day, another beautiful time of worship, another beautiful ride, another beautiful workout with my son, another beautiful meal with family, and another beautiful kairos moment with my beautiful Greek/Comanche on May Day with Tay.

God, thanks for the gift of being LOVED.

God, help me to stop more often and give this gift.

God, help me…
