Yesterday one of my clients agreed with me. This happens a lot I’m told, but the truth is it’s actually very rare.
In deed, that is.
Yesterday I shared my vision for our work together over a chopped salad at Northstar. He smiled and agreed. He agreed to take BTL practice to every member of his team. One of my ten year dreams is within sight. Very cool.
Here’s the coolest part. His company, which he founded only months ago, is a part of his OPUS. A work that he had the guts to start. A work that forced him to leave behind his high paying labor. Leaving is hard. Even harder when the work is predictable, comfortable, and something you’ve grown to tolerate eventhough it’s chronically painful at its core. He took the leap and he’s not looked back. Yesterday, we laughed about some tough topics that a year ago would have produced anxiety and anger. Yesterday we smiled, we laughed, and we decided on a couple productive actions. Today, this builder is all about going forward. Authoring and living your OPUS is kinda like metal to a magnet. Magically drawn together, distinct and deeply connected, ONE.
My client is becoming ONE, distinct and deeply connected, that is BTL. So will his team. And, coming soon his dwellings will reflect something that even his tenants will taste.
OPUS, it’s the one you want…
