I’m listening to a ton of Coldplay lately. Yes, I’m somewhat depressed and nothing allows me to feel good about feeling bad like a little Coldplay. Us against the world from their latest album and Gravity from X&Y are really hitting me at the moment. Here’s why.
Both these tracks remind me to slow it down.
Today, a client told me what he “should” be doing and another told me what he would “like” to see in his future. Two thoughts that I took from both. First, I really don’t care what you think you should do. I care what you are choosing to actually do. Want a better future? STOP “shoulding” on yourself. Start choosing more productive action. Second, “hope” is NOT a strategy…
Want a better future? Create it. Want a few transformational relationships? Start building, now.
Alright. Enough said.
Time for a little more Coldplay…
