The sweetest thing to see…

Rundown + Board bullshit + Potential high performer quit = Anxiety attack.

My client recognized it when it was coming, but was powerless to STOP it. Or so he thought. A little practice changed his mind. Actually, a little practice that he chose to learn from, changed his mind. He chose…

Today, my client grabbed back control of his thinking. He got to the root of his anxiety by writing and talking about it, not running from it. He changed his mind. He owned his shit. He chose a couple PA’s (productive actions) that will build a dam of sorts in his mind to stop his negative thoughts from flooding him. He chose.

He has taken his weight from 240 – 201. He has gone primal and changed the way he injests calories. He chose to deeply change his relationship with beer and simple sugars. He has taken himself off of all kinda medications. He has built a strong core with rigorous discipline. He has built a strong CORE with more of the same. He has authored his OPUS and launched himself from one system to another. He has PoPed it out with uncommon discipline. He has enjoyed huge wins in his work and his life. He has never felt better, he told me. NEVER. He has been making a ton of good choices…

And, he’s still got to struggle.

Struggle is never going away. Struggle is part and parcel to growing. Embrace the struggle. Today, my client received a reminder and got to the root. He did the hard work himself. He felt good doing his own digging and diagnosis. I simply guided him gently toward his own aim. It was sweet to see.

I can hardly wait for May to arrive and watch 10 pulls being pulled off by this client. I can already see his smile and the satisfaction written across his face. This won’t happen by accident, luck, or some one time surge of power. This will happen by his choice. His choice to keep pulling his weight up the bitch beam and pushing his face away from sugar. His choice to change his mind. His choice to change his body. This will happen by his choice to control his energy, to control how he reacts to his board, and to control how he handles the adversity coming his way.

It will be the sweetest thing to see…
