Yesterday, during practice number 19 with the team of six, we started with each teammate sharing their PA from practice 18. We went no farther. There wasn’t enough time…
As we wrapped up another practice filled with new PA of their choosing, I thought to myself and later expressed to others, what an amazing team this team of six is becoming. We practice almost every Monday morning and in a few short months they have begun to taste team chemistry that should only reside in teams that have practiced for many moons. This has been beyond very cool to see…
Yesterday we learned that even the survivors of 911 waited before ACTing. We learned that practice can be life saving. Don’t believe me, just ask someone from Morgan Stanley that was in those dreaded towers. We learned that next to nobody thinks they have time to practice. We learned that masters know that practice, practice, and more practice is all they have time for. Funny, huh. We learned that Frankee is more of a catalyst than a CFO and what a compliment that really is. Speaking of compliments…
We learned that the prevailing melody line to the team of six is that they are all really quite a compliment to me. Not a compliment to me in terms of me taking credit. They are all a compliment to me in terms of how I see them. You see, Frankee, TZ, LKZ,Lauren, Reika, and kman, are complimentary to each other. That is a compliment to each of them and to kman for putting together such an amazing ensemble.
See you on Monday, team of six. My compliments to each of you for your commitment to practice, to each other, and, most importantly, to your discipline of taking your learning and converting it to action; productive action. And, don’t get too comfortable receiving compliments from me.
Remember, I’m here to make you do what you can and you can do a lot…
