I work with many clients in the midst of their deep failure. I refuse to beat my man when he’s down. I simply remind him he needs to learn to fail well. Huh?
I attempt to follow a really old recipe as follows:
Repent, repair, reflect, and re-engage. Allow God in and ask Him for help. His promises are true. He is worthy of trust. He is patient and sees beyond your problem regardless its size and scope. Your life is not the snapshot you’re presently in. You are not freeze framed in your present problem. Patience. Patience. Patience is a virtue you and I gotta master if we’re gonna master life. Slow down and reflect, my friend.
Repent, repair, reflect, and re-engage. Your life is not defined by the snapshot you find yourself in this moment. Your life is a story, not a snapshot. Your story is yours to write. And, here’s the coolest part if you ask me. There’s no such thing as good writing – only good rewriting. FM, baby.
Repent, repair, reflect, re-engage, and rewrite. Your story is far from over. Thanks, Vineyard Church of Columbus, for the reminder…
