Today, the three amigo’s enjoyed practice 11. They are getting tired together and it’s a good kinda tired. They are gaining energy together too. Moving along.
I told ’em they’re, now, kinda stuck with me for awhile. You see, most of my clients fire me early. This is by design. In fact, the vast majority of BTL clients do not make it to practice one. This too is by design. Here’s why. Becoming BTL is real, hard, work. The idea sounds good when you read about it here and kinda imagine it out there. Actually grabbing the reins and being made to do what you can – mucho difference`.
If you are attempting to build mastery in and around your craft you’re gonna have to invest your time wisely. You will have to eliminate distraction and learn to let good opportunities go elsewhere. You cannot work with the best if you continually surround yourself with whoever says yes. You can not build the best while bending over to stay busy. Sometimes you may need to get comfortable with the “gift of time,” so to speak.
Today, during practice 11, my mind raced back to an early client that wore me out and wouldn’t fire me fast enough. I learned a valuable lesson about the importance of quick deaths. My energy, on a scale of 1 – 10, is 11. Thanks, amigos for nudging it up. Remember, together we improve. Together we improve…
