Yesterday Tay, Miss, and I listened to Lightning during Church with Chet. I know, I know – kinda cra. Actually we listened to the song titled Lightning Crashes and learned a ton about our worldviews. I confused my son and threw a bit of a monkey wrench in his belief around structure and order. We listended, laughed, and longed for clarity.
We got comfortable with confusion. Thanks, Chad & Chad for lacing lyrics together to make a few think. And, thanks young Kenny for forcing me to listen to something old and foreign to my ears.
God, help me get comfortable with confusion. And, God, thanks for being Light in life. Yup, I’m beginning to see if only but faintly. Lightning crashes, yes it does. Someday confusion will be replaced with clarity. Someday, just not today. Today, I’m gonna learn to have a bit more faith and keep finding my way forward in the face of confusion. How ’bout you…
