Yesterday, during practice 117 with an elite team Churp has affectionately labeled as SEAL’s, I reminded all twelve of ’em why we have SEAL buddies. We have buddies for the sole purpose of having a truth teller to make us do what we can. Buddies build each other. The building follows a specific pattern on purpose. Real buddies work on CORE, OPUS, and PoP it like a banchee.
Their job as a SEAL is to get stronger within, clearer about their aim, and more disciplined in how they get there. CORE, OPUS, PoP. ccd, fm. Their problem is they are too weak within and waste too much time speaking, listening, and spreading bullshit that has nothing to do with the real big three C.O.P.! Instead of building foundational strength they, not unlike you, get lost in corporate noise known as gossip.
Weak.
Worry about your C.O.P. and you won’t have the need, time, or desire to police another. The same applies to you if you and your teammate are to aim at being a couple strong, virtuous COP’s. We could use a few COP’s in your corporate world I’m certain – a few COP’s kicking their own and inspiring others with their clarity. The problem is we’ve got an abundance of p.i.g.’s in the world of work. p.i.g.’s play small, you see. p.i.g.’s are people invested in gossip. Don’t be a p.i.g., my friend.
What are you investing in today? Invest in becoming a good C.O.P.. Funny, huh…
