Today, during practice 133 and 134, I challenged durp, Keisha, Heels, LMS, Hopper, jmo, jmo jr, Yo, Tosha, Stink eye, Joshy, and anybody else that was paying attention. Today, I took a team of collectors back to the very roots of BTL and reminded them why I’m here and asked them to understand why they are as well. We learned a ton in the process of practicing. Keisha’s clarity was an unintended consequence of durps challenge to jmo jr. Funny, huh.
The team was real and raw when Yo went homie on us. Everybody struggles to deeply connect with those distinctly different souls who reside under our own roof or used to. We all tend to think we’re alone here in this struggle and nothing could be further from the truth. Today, durp’s team advanced the aim of unity the only way it’s done. We dug deep, didn’t we. We didn’t totally avoid the tough topics. We got a bit raw and real together. And, a few took a look inside and honestly evaluated their capacity and came back with a challenge they liked.
Remember, the idea you are most likely to ACT on is the one you think is your own. This is but another “why” behind why you gotta kick your own if you’re gonna get any better. I’m kinda broken here, aren’t I? Broken, in the sense of a broken record. Broken because I understand how humans change and it’s my life’s work to push a few along. Kinda like PJ this morning in the 3PP, you gotta know your capacity and it kinda helps when another makes you do what you can, doesn’t it.
Who is pushing you, my friend? Are you returning the favor? Remember, the best teams challenge themselves and each other early and often. How ’bout your tribe? Remember, there is no “soft zone” in the culture of high performance. Funny isn’t it LMS. Funny huh…
