Song for Someone…

U2’s latest anthem is titled, Song for Someone. It is well worth a listen. Be forewarned, however, these guys are the most politically incorrect company on the planet. They drop more “F bombs,” than Howard Stern and talk about God more than most Pastors, Priests, or Rabbi’s. They make no sense and tons of money. Funny, huh…

They dropped everything in the middle of producing this latest recording to write and record a tribute to Nelson Mandella titled, Ordinary Love. Funny, there is nothing ordinary about either.

U2, it seems, change their sound every time you turn ’round. They do more good than most nations. They are a band of 50 somethings who continue to grow old, but not tired, together. U2 is a great example of a team who fights to improve performance, not prove a point. You will learn more studying them than you will reading some leadership candy from your airport bookstore. Try putting your hands on an easy introduction to their madness by watching their documentary, From the sky down. If you like what you learn, read the little book titled, Walk On.

Good…
