Return to sender…

Humans, when they’re hurting, aren’t usually open to your logic. Yet, most of us, when we encounter a hurting human and their condescending kinda comment that’s posed as a question, attempt to answer. We give them our logic. And, if you’re anything like me, we feel their unwarranted resentment and give them a little does of our loathe. It’s only logical, right? Somebody poses a question that is really a condescending comment, and we return the favor.

Close relationships are breeding grounds for loathing cause close humans are the only kind that cut us to the bone. I mean come on man, you gotta get this point. Want better relations with those in closest proximity to you in work and life? STOP returning their illogical commentary/question with some logic of your own. Don’t send them anything logical, in fact, at all. Laugh, instead. Laugh. Not at them, instead, at yourself. Laugh at your own feelings and insecurities that another has triggered. Taylor Swift is kinda right, you gotta shake it off and the best way to do so is to learn to laugh; loathe, not so much.

Close relationships are breeding grounds for loathing. Logic cannot return another human to an open, understanding kinda state. Only LOVE can. So, next time you find yourself cut to the bone by your lover, next of kin, or some other human in close proximity to your heart, give them what they don’t deserve and what makes no sense. Give them some LOVE and leave it at that. Someday they’ll return the favor. Someday.

Friedman was right. The biggest problem we humans have is treating unreasonable people with reason. Return some love, next time you’re sent some loathe. Return some love to sender. Someday you just may get that package you’ve been waiting for. Someday. Good.

God, help me receive your unfailing, undeserved, and amazing Grace. God, help me let You fill me up with your perfect LOVE. God, help me send a little of it along…
