Love is strength…

Today, during practice 136 with kman’s krazies, we covered a lot of ground in only three pages of content in the courage essential. We changed a few minds, I hope. At least one and likely many more, believe being vulnerable and choosing to love puts one in a position of weakness – the opposite is the truth.

Imagine a mother scrambling from her bedroom window to escape the fire engulfing her home. And, upon arriving in her front yard with husband and three children, discovers her little animal had been left behind. Without thinking, she scrambles to her feet, up the stairs, grabs her animal, and sprints back outside before the firemen can stop her.

Imagine a man jumping out his comfortable, corner office to pursue his passion and create communities based on his four pillars of Wellness, Philanthropy, Sustainability, and Innovation. Imagine he’s leaving what he know’s and what has provided for he and his family. Imagine he’s leaving the security of community to create on his own. Yup, imagine he’s jumping out the window and he’s jumping alone.

Mom and krazy man both got ton-o-fear. Normal. However, what fuels the leap is not some super human kinda courage they simply summon in their moments of truth. Nope, it’s not. You see, what fuels both mom and man is the ultimate strengthsfinder and it’s always rooted in LOVE. Love is real strength. Love is strength in action. Mom runs into the house because she loves her animal more than she fears getting burned. krazy kman jumps from his safe haven into the abyss for the exact same root – cause he’s authored his labor of love, his opus, and he leaps alone with more love than fear.

Love is strength in action. Spread some around your community, leader. God knows there’s already an abundance of the real “F word”, fear. Love your work and love your team, leader. At least a few will follow. And, krazy man, look around you. Looks to this level head like you’re surrounded by lots and lots and lots of like minded lovers of the kinda four pillars you framed up. So, so blessed to see.

Yup, love is strength. Spread some…
