Today, another team began the journey toward becoming BTL. We started practice one the way we always start this process – with why we’re here. Four hours of practice flew by as we mostly invested the time in understanding the rules for how we’re going to engage going forward. Earlier today in practice 7, we built a bit more trust with another team learning how to have hard conversation without disconnecting. And, today, we mitigated a conflict between another team of performers that was mostly around missed communication. In all these practices we learned the power of becoming one and learned the promise of no easy day on our way there.
Today was another day invested in the BTL process. Tonight, Miss and I are preparing to travel home and we are both tired. It is a good tired. We’ve both invested our best selves in the aim of of our work. As I sit next to her tonight, I’m smiling and looking forward to a nice nap on the way home with her. We are not in control of much along this way we call life. We are in control of how we respond and how well we give the gift of understanding to each other. I think that’s enough.
Tomorrow, the Lord willing, we’ll get up and get after it again. Thank you teams, for your trust. We will continue to do our best to earn it. Good…
