I started writing this blog almost ten years ago at the request of one of my clients. I hadn’t heard of blogging and had no idea how this might help our clients. With the help of some friends, I gave it a go. There’s no way to measure the impact this writing has on our clients, the BTL band, or those readers beyond it’s intended audience. There’s no way to justify the time and energy toward this endeavor. The BTL blog provides no quantifiable payback. There is, however, one thing it’s done.
Impact me.
Writing brings me clarity, aids my memory, reminds me, and serves as a catalyst for my creativity. Writing helps me “connect the dots” within our framework. Writing allows me to increase my ability to influence the one person I really need to work on – Me. The same can be said for you, can’t it?
Throughout human history, writing has helped countless humans congeal their thoughts and act more and more consistently in the same direction. This is why all BTL clients become writers even if they never publish a book. All BTL clients write. The writing process begins with authoring discovery, CORE, and OPUS. The writing never stops. The more we write, the more clearly and consistently we think, and the more consistently we act. Peace is found when beliefs & behaviors align regardless the situation. Writing helps toward this aim. Friend, never underestimate the power of your pen. Go on, give it a try. Thanks for your attention and contributions to this work. Thanks to the BTL Band for all their posts, and for all their “ands.”
Want to increase your ability to influence you? Write about it. Good…

LOVE this… I’ll book mark it when ever anyone asks me why I (we) write.
A concept so few understand. Write for yourself. Let the few listen in. Brilliant Chet. Glad you started 10 years ago.
You have been a great role model for all of us! The clarity of your voice/writing have evolved, strengthened and enriched us all over the past 10 years!
Thanks Chet!
Very kind, as always, Peteboy. Thank you and enjoy Texas…
