Master connectors do little explaining. Instead, they capture their audience’s attention through the experience. Master connectors create memorable moments. Whomever you’re trying to reach, friend, remember this fact. You, most likely, are losing them with too many words and too little compelling content. Explain less. Create “experience” a bit more. Explain less. Experience more. Good…
Here’s a personal example. BTL is next to impossible to explain. Listening in to excited clients and builders, I often hear lots of lengthy explanations trying to communicate the framework and purpose behind practice with all kinda misplaced passion and an abundance of words. Lots of words. Experience just one practice, however, and you could be blown away by the engagement, energy, and essence of real community. You just might feel a real connection. And, like many a BTL client, one practice could be all it took for you to “get it.” Extrapolate to you and your audience. You, most likely, explain too much and create too little experience.
Flip this, friend. FM, baby..
