Clarity…

My day just ended. Actually my work day just ended. As I hung up the phone with one of my favorite clients (they’re all in a virtual tie, btw) I smiled at the clarity that had come. We had talked through some tough topics involving the future. I gave no answers because there are no simple ones to his situation. We talked. And, as we talked – clarity arrived.

Remember, leader, everybody fears the future. The need is for clarity; certainty, not so much. You and I can be wrong about the future and the team still perform. Leaders cannot be unclear. Good reminder, I hope…
