One of my clients has found flow. Things are going well and there’s nothing much to report on. This is so good AND a dangerous place to be. I reminded them that plenty of teams love this space because they feel like they’ve finally figured it out. However, the great ONE’s keep pushing. We will push.
So we spent the rest of our time together dissecting one important weekly meeting. It’s a meeting that sets the tone for the work they have to do weeks later. The meeting is good, there’s nothing wrong with it, but it could be better. We went through the meeting minute by minute and discussed the intentions and purpose of everything we were going to do. We tied the work to the collective OPUS and their individual one as well. We came out of practice today more clear and more aligned than ever before. I can’t wait to hear how it goes next week.
If you are happy with where you are, you will get nothing more. If you perpetually pursue improvement, you will get what you deserve. It’s your choice, choose wisely…
