Simple…

Do not forget these guiding truths for leading anything through crisis.

The BTL leader understands the complexities of their system and has crystal clarity of their overarching vision – their aim. They know why it matters and live their purpose with passion, patience, and relentless pursuit of excellence. They enjoy sunny days and prepare for storms well before radar reveals.

Life is hard. The crucible renders. This they believe.

During crisis, leader, remember to understand all the complexities in and around your system. Master making the complex on top, simple on bottom. Master ccd (clear, concise, and direct) communications. Humans hear horribly in crisis. Keep it simple when talking. “Stop this. Focus here. Turn right here. En brera.”

Anybody can make the complex more complicated. Your job is to take the complex and make it simple for your team to act. Clarity is key. Ambiguity the enemy. You can be wrong and the team will forgive you. You cannot be unclear.

Sunny or stormy? Does. Not. Matter. PA (productive action) is the antidote to complacent teams or those crippled with fear. What, leader, are you doing to prepare your team for either?

Live hard. Love ❤️ harder. Simple…
