Gravity…

Building a strong, literal core is simple once you understand some basics. Start with why. Why does a strong core matter? It’s your center. Your major muscles attach here. Low back pain, the most chronic in the world, is mostly due to weakness here. Knee and hip pain are alleviated when a strong core keeps everything else in better alignment. I could go on and on. You get the point. Core work matters more than bulging biceps, lats, or other glamour muscles. Fact. So, now that we have a clear why, how do we best do it in as short amount of time?

Use gravity. Simple, not easy.

Lay on your back. Push your lower back into the floor. Lift shoulders off the mat. Lift legs too. Hold. Gravity does the rest.

Grab hold of a pull up bar. Hold legs straight. Either do a pull up, chin up, or just hold for 30 seconds. Gravity.

Do this 3 days a week for 30 minutes. Play with a thousand nuances and then a thousand more. Tune into your body. Feel the good kinda pain that causes growth. Feel the warning pain that signals injury a coming. Push yourself to just this side of chaos. Do not cross the line. Keep reaching as you gain strength. Never stop. Never settle.

The same is true for your BTL CORE. You building both? Slow down. Reflect. Write. Dream and do. Do more. Good.

Live hard. Love ❤️ harder…
