Mountains…

Mountains are broad at the bottom, narrow on top. Life is a lot like a mountain range. Most hang out in the valley. Some climb for awhile and settle. A few reach the summit.

The few understand mountain tops are not meant to enjoy for long. They take in the views. Congratulate one another for a good climb. Thank God for the gift. And, they quickly pick another target to climb. Keep reaching. Keep striving. Keep working. The few understand mountain tops are small on purpose. The few are content but not complacent. The next challenge is harder, longer, and just out of reach – at least for now. Let’s go.
