I’ve developed a new discipline with a few teams I’m blessed to build. We start team practice with each of them writing a curious question for me. One of the leaders collects them and decides which one we address at the end of practice. I read them all on my own time and have learned a ton from the exercise. One of the most frequent questions is around finding purpose in work/life.
How do you know it (purpose) when you find it, they ask over and over.
Here’s what I know. When you find purpose in your life? Nobody will have to tell you. You’ll just know it from deep within your freakin’ messy and beautiful soul.
Know why? Know the way. No why? No way. Damn.
