Leaders, at least the ones I would follow, do not coach from their worldview. Nope, they don’t.
They coach the team from each of their worldviews. Of course, this requires the leader knows who they are and who each of their team are as well. Simple, not easy.
Do you know your worldview (how you make sense of your world)? Do you know each of your teammates? Normal leaders simply lead from their worldview. This produces compliant cultures or cults. Committed followers, not so much.
Do you know yours? Theirs? Yes, it’s much easier to lead your team your way and treat them all the way you want to be treated. Excellence is not the easy way. Are you strong enough in your CORE to lead those distinctly different from you? What, leader, do you believe? Do you meet your team where they are? Slow down. Reflect. Learn. What, if anything, you gonna do with it?
