AndyT…Hard Things (Really hard…)

One of my fellow-builders just accomplished something that most of us not only would not do

BUT

could not do.

A 70-mile trek in 29 hours. DAMN.

Many things I could say here – but I will pass on most of them.

Andy, you have been such a powerful force in my life. I am feeling pretty damn emotional right this moment writing this. You were there on my very first one-on-one practice with John. That was for a reason. Even before that you embraced me, challenged me and poured into me.

You were one of the first to make me want to become a builder. I wanted very much to be like you, to be able to influence others like you, to have your belief, to be able to connect like you, to be able to build like you.

Thank you for pouring into me, believing in me – and MODELING THE WAY.

Modeling the way is simple, not easy.

Doing hard things, matters. Doing really hard things, matters more.

You have once again – modeled the way – for me and many others.
