Yesterday was practice ONE.01 with my favorite international client (yes, they are my only too). Was too much fun seeing this high growth team come together and begin to believe. They are a young company running around with their hair on fire. And, at the same time, they are led by a wise man who is giving them the gift of also sharpening the saw. They are building the bridge as they walk on it but for these three days they’re huddled underneath it and learning. Yesterday we practiced from sun up through sun down. We got tired together for fourteen hours. Yes, yes, we practiced 7 good minutes more than once. And, they were given homework (PA’s) to do upon arriving back home after 10pm. Do not miss the learning, friends. The best team building is not easy. Trust falls don’t really have much lasting benefit, you know. Want more oneness with your team?
Get ‘em tired together. Fact.
Today, we’re going for another twelve hours. I’m already amped up just thinking about the tiredness that’s surely coming. It will be a good tired. Together. Always together.
