Friday’s are special for me. Studying, reading, writing, and hanging with Miss are the pillars of this day. Golf, band practice, bike rides, trips to our farms, and video chats with Aedán James are frequent flyers.

Quiet time and quite a time it is.

Today, Little little and his team installed our pull up bar in the newly improved 3PP (push up, pull up, plank palace). Pre covid this was a basement thing. It’s been driveway and garage since 2020. Today, finishing touches were applied to the garage. The best addition?

For years this was hanging in the 3PP. A frequent reminder from my best builder and dear friend, Larry Allen. Today, his lighthouse is back where I can see it everyday, especially on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday when we jump up to the newly installed Rogue bar and build our core a little less soft. You see, friends, Friday begins my slow weekend. I go hard Tuesday – Thursday, do some practices on Monday, and sharpen the saw while slowing it down on the remainder. It is my rhythm. I thank God for everyday and remind myself it’s all a gift. Here’s praying you have a weekend to remember and find a rhythm that suits you and those you love. Go hard as hell and slow down and taste the joy and peace only a few create this side of Heaven. FIO, friends. This ain’t no dress rehearsal.
