Why…

I get questioned by family and friends about why people hire me and other Builders from BTL. It’s a good question. Here’s my ccd answer. 

We get paid to learn.

We are paid to learn ourselves. You see, we cannot take another further than we’ve gone ourselves. 

We are paid to learn our clients and their teams. 

We are paid to learn history, so none we work with have to repeat it.

We are paid to learn systems, physics, psychology, sociology, economics, communications, and so much more. We are paid to learn art, science, and dive deep into faith and what cannot be known. We are paid to learn how to build trust, high performers, and respectfully turn away those who refuse to do what they can. We are paid to speak truth, listen for truth, and catch the liar and their lies. We must learn to do all of this. Here’s the funniest part, at least to me. 

The more I learn, the less I know. 

Why, friend, does the world pay you? Slow down. Reflect. Earn it. Keep learning. Damn.
