Legacy…

We all leave a legacy. The definition of legacy is “something transmitted by or received from an ancestor or predecessor or from the past.” We are all transmitting something as we live. The best transmit what money cannot buy, what is more precious than gold, and what makes others want to put their name on something. What might that be? Simple, not easy.

Transmit love.

My friend, Wildkitty (David Dennis) sent me this photo this morning. His dad, just like you and I will at one point, left us recently. He left a legacy – a legacy of love. His place of work dedicated a gymnasium to his memory. Beautiful. Live like this, friends. Live fully aware you won’t be here forever. Leave your mark. Make it meaningful to you and good for others. You are building a legacy today. You’ve been reminded. Damn.
