2024 I moved it. I’m certain you did as well. The older we get the less most of us we move. Not good. In fact, the average American is more or less immobile around the age of 69. We may live much longer, but for the vast majority of it, we’re inactive spectators instead of active participants. Fact.
My challenge to myself is to keep moving it.
First, here’s what movement I tracked in 2024.
5,200 miles of cycling and 3,689,055 steps of walking.
Core work Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday like clockwork.
12 rounds of golf.
2025 Move it Targets are as follows:
4,000 miles of cycling. Less and slower too.
4,000,000 steps. More quality walks with Miss, grand babies, and friends. And a few steps running and jogging a bit too.
Core work same routine as 2024. More intense. More time under tension. More stretching. More box and bar work. More trash talking, of course!
30 rounds of golf. More fun in the sun, especially early morning. More rounds with Jordan, Lil Jeggie, other good golfers, and good friends.
What about you? What’s your plan to move it move it?
Live hard. Love ❤️ harder…
