Carpe diem…

My cousin, Ira Oscar III, is no longer with us. He left us way too early. 55 years is all he was given. You and I don’t come with a known built in expiration date. We have no idea. We live as if we’ll live forever. We. Will. Not.

We are but a mist. A vapor. Fact.

So, today friend, seize the day. Carpe diem. Nothing is guaranteed. Nothing. Live like you may not make it another day ’cause you might not. Do not be afraid of death. Respect it. Death is a door. Life is a gift. Make the most of it. And, when it comes your time to move on to the next, die like Techumseh, like a hero going home. Damn.

You burned out bright, Ira. Godspeed.

Live hard. Love ❤️ harder…
